The Automotive Industry Institute PIMOT® was found by Polish Council of Ministers in 1972, as the automotive industry Research and Development unit.

PIMOT`s lines of activity cover scientific, R&D works and automotive products testing services. Institute is a separate and independent unit. It makes an unquestionable basic for impartiality of its opinion and test result obtained.

Automotive Industry Institute PIMOT is a partner of social campaign “Be safe together”
In September 2011 start out third edition of social campaign “Be safe together”. This campaign concerns safety driving during crossing tram lines in a town. Automotive Industry Institute PIMOT takes a part in this campaign.

TramwajEvery year road traffic accidents happen in big Polish cities with the participation of trams. According to the statistics, drivers and pedestrians are responsible for causing an accidents. They don’t follow safetyregulations during crossing tram lines. The aim of social campaign “Be safe together” is to reduce the accident rate of tragic result of these kind of accidents. The organizer “Tramwaje Warszawskie Sp. z o.o.” want to show us - drivers, how dangerous is a vehicle collision with a tram.
On 14’ The September 2011, during the inauguration of the campaign, on the Siedmiogrodzka 20 street, at 10.30, we will simulating an accident, which participate tram and a car. The guests will be able to see the fist aid operation.
