The Automotive Industry Institute PIMOT® was found by Polish Council of Ministers in 1972, as the automotive industry Research and Development unit.

PIMOT`s lines of activity cover scientific, R&D works and automotive products testing services. Institute is a separate and independent unit. It makes an unquestionable basic for impartiality of its opinion and test result obtained.

Polish - Russian testing cooperation agreement
We hale pleasure to inform you that we have signed an agreement with the Non-profit Partnership “The Motor Vehicle Works Certification Centre RESPEKT”.

“RESPEKT” is a legal unit under the laws of the Russian Federation which offers a wide range of product certification and certification of automotive services for road transport.

PIMOT undertakes to provide according to the “RESPECT`s” assignments the following engineering works:
  • testing of vehicle structural components and additional accessories and issuing test report for purposes of certification of such components and accessories for compliance with the state standards applicable in Russian Federation;
  • testing above mentioned components which have passed certification for compliance with state standards applicable in the Russian Federation;
  • participating in control tests performed at the test laboratories of the manufactured of said components, which have passed certification for compliance with state standards applicable in the Russian Federation;
  • inspecting production facilities that manufacture above said components and conducting their inspection control as it is understood under the laws of Russian Federation.
