The Automotive Industry Institute (PIMOT) was founded by the Council of Ministers dated August 11, 1972, as the central unit in the system of Polish automotive industry research and development facilities.

Institute's lines of operation cover scientific, research, and development work in the field of automotive industry problems.

The EU 7th Framework Programs

We are interested in join proposal related to following 7th EU Framework Programs: (Collaboration EU R&D): FP7 – TRANSPORT, FP7-CAPACITIES, FP7-COOPERATION, FP-7 PEOPLE; FP7-ENERGY and FP7-REGIONAL.

We are prepared to join a consortium (partnership) who will be working for one of the above mentioned programmes. Our central objective of transport research under FP7 is all project regarding clean (“green”) and safe vehicles. Our main role can be representative of industry group and we can provide access to testing/validating different prototypes, ideas, concepts related to vehicles in scale of one company and at whole sectors and region.

We also are looking for partners for our R&D project under 7th FP regarding dust emission reduction during the vehicle braking process. The innovative "green" technical solution concerns vehicle breaking systems which reduced environmental pollution will be given by this project. It could be used by vehicle break producers.
