The Automotive Industry Institute PIMOT® was found by Polish Council of Ministers in 1972, as the automotive industry Research and Development unit.

PIMOT`s lines of activity cover scientific, R&D works and automotive products testing services. Institute is a separate and independent unit. It makes an unquestionable basic for impartiality of its opinion and test result obtained.

EU Directives

List of UE Directives, for which PIMOT has been authorized by the Ministry of Transport  to carry out type-approval tests and to inspect the conformity of production or assembly. Positive test results carried by PIMOT? according to following UE Directives are a ground for giving the customer Type Approval Certificate.
